Description
Brynmehefin is an end-entry house built from colourwashed stone rubble, featuring a slate roof and stone end stacks with dripstones. The building is two stories high with an attic and has a three-window range. There are three 20th-century dormers with six-pane sashes. The first and ground floors each have a twelve-pane sash window at either end, with a central flush 20th-century window that may have replaced former dummy windows or blank panels. The first floor showcases pointed Gothic glazing within a rectangular frame, while the ground floor center has twelve-pane glazing. The stone voussoirs add to the architectural detail. On the right end gable, there is a twelve-pane sash window on the first floor above a doorway. The entrance features a six-panel door with fielded and bordered panels, along with an overlight that includes fan glazing bars. A 20th-century timber porch incorporates re-used Ionic capitals. At the rear, there is a low two-storey wing with a stone end stack, a central six-pane fixed window under the eaves, and an added stone lean-to porch with an eight-pane sash and a 20th-century door in the end wall. The interior has not been inspected.
