Description

The agricultural range at Brynlluarth is constructed of whitened rubble with a slate roof and tiled ridges. It consists of two sections: a barn at the lower end on the left and a cart and stable block that is stepped up and flush to the right. The barn features a large near-central entrance that has been blocked up with modern breeze-blocks. This entrance has a segmental head and a pegged wooden frame. There are three tiers of ventilation slits, mostly blocked on the right side, along with upper boarded windows on both sides, also with segmental heads and contemporary frames. The rear has a similar arrangement of openings, including five tiers of ventilators at the gable end and a 20th-century horizontal window at ground level.

The cart and stable section has eight bays. On the far left, there is a cambered entrance with a boarded door that leads to an internal stair accessing the loft on the upper floor. To the right of this entrance are three large segmentally-arched cart bays, each with a cambered-headed light above. The rightmost bay features a two-light window with a boarded shutter, while the others remain open. To the right of these bays are two stable entrances, each with a small square light to the left and right, respectively, and both have cambered heads and boarded stable doors. The upper gable end includes a boarded loading bay. An adjoining rubble outshut is located at the left-hand rear of this range, topped with a corrugated iron roof and featuring rear and side entrances. Additionally, there is a 20th-century corrugated iron lean-to attached to the rear of the cart-bay section.

At the time of the survey, the building was deemed unsafe for internal inspection.
