Description
The Cart and Stable Block at Groes-Gwta is a rectangular, one-and-a-half storey structure built from whitened rubble, topped with a slate roof and tiled ridge. On the left side, there are two wide cart bays featuring depressed arches and 2-light open windows positioned beneath the eaves. To the right, the building has two stable doors with a window beyond, and a former stable entrance on the far right that has been reduced to a window; all openings except the second entrance have cambered heads. The upper floor includes a boarded loading bay on the left and another window on the right, similar to those below. An external stone stair leads to a cambered upper entrance on the south gable, supported by a pegged wooden frame. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
