Description
The barn and stable at Carneddau is a 19th-century structure built from rubble stone and topped with a corrugated iron roof. It features double boarded doors to the right of the center, which were in poor condition at the time of inspection. To the left, there is a weatherboarded bay adjacent to a stone lean-to. The right side of the building is covered with corrugated iron sheets. At the left end, which is downhill, there is a stable door. The downhill gable end includes a weatherboarded loft. At the rear, there are double doors, partially replaced with corrugated iron, and a weatherboarded bay to the right that aligns with the yard openings. Although not inspected, it is reported by RCAHM Wales that the building has a three-bay roof supported by re-used crucks.
