Description

The carthouse at Hafod y Maidd is a building constructed from well-laid stone rubble and features large quoins. It has a slate roof and four square openings on the east side, each with a monolithic slate lintel. Above each opening, there is a ventilation window that has slats in the lower part and glazing above. The upper floor, likely used for storing hay and fodder, can be accessed via an external stone stair located at the south end, which is attached to the rear of the main farm building.
