Description
The carthouse at Llaithgwm is a rectangular, two-storey structure built from local rubble, topped with a medium-pitched slate roof. The front of the building is symmetrical and features two segmentally-arched entrances, which have rough-dressed voussoirs set back below arch-rings made of narrow stones. On the upper granary floor, there are two equally spaced, two-light windows. The left gable end includes an external stone stair that leads to an upper entrance, which has a boarded door and a pegged frame. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
