Description
The carthouse and pigsty at Coed-y-Foel Isaf is a rectangular, two-storey structure built of rubble with a medium-pitched slate roof. The road-facing side features two large cart openings with segmental arches and voussoirs made from narrow stones, along with wooden slatted gates. Above these openings, there are two 2-pane windows located under the eaves. The left gable end has an upper boarded and framed door, which is accessed by external stone steps. To the right of the carthouse is a pigsty, which is a single-storey building with a pitched roof, set back behind low sty walls at the front (these have been replaced with breeze blocks). The pigsty has two plain entrances with boarded doors. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
