Description
Garden Cottage and Bwthyn are a pair of one-and-a-half storey L-plan cottages built in an overall U-plan. Constructed of orange brick with slate roofs, they feature slate lintels and projecting sills. The cottages have brown brick end and shared central chimneys topped with 20th-century pots and flaunchings. Each unit has an off-centre entrance with a boarded door and a three-pane overlight, flanked by four-pane Victorian sash windows on both floors. The first-floor windows break the eaves and are set within broad gabled dormers that have simple bargeboards, with the central dormers being paired. Each cottage has a rear wing with single four-pane sashes on each floor, and a single-storey lean-to block runs along the back, connecting the projecting wings. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
