Description

This is a pair of one-and-a-half-storey cottages, known as Bwthyn, built in an L-plan arrangement to form a U-shaped terrace. They were constructed in orange brick with slate roofs, and feature slate lintels and projecting sills. The chimneys are of brown brick and are centrally located, topped with 20th-century pots and flaunchings. Each cottage has an off-centre entrance with a boarded door and a 3-pane overlight. This is flanked by four-pane Victorian sash windows on both floors. The first-floor windows break the eaves, set within broad gabled dormers with simple bargeboards, with paired dormers centrally located. The rear wings of each cottage have single four-pane sashes to each floor, and a single-storey lean-to block connects the projecting wings. The interior of the cottages was not inspected at the time of survey.
