Description
Pont Pensarn is a bridge built of rubble stonework. It features a single arch that spans approximately 4 meters and rises 2.4 meters above the river. The arch is formed with well-shaped stone voussoirs that are slightly set back under the flush rubble spandrels. These spandrels rise to high parapet walls that are 48 centimeters thick, coped with granite blocks, and they define the 5.4-meter wide carriageway across the causeway.
