Description
Ffynnon Felin Bach is a well-preserved structure featuring a rubble rounded recess located behind the spring. It was repaired in 1967, at the same time a slate tablet was added. This tablet bears an inscription by Cynan, the poet and playwright Albert Evans-Jones, who lived from 1895 to 1970 and was a prominent figure in the Gorsedd. He is known for writing some of the most recognized modern Welsh verse. The inscription reads: ‘Does dim wna f’enaid blin yn iach ond dwr o Ffynnon Felin Bach. O Gerdd gan un o hogiau’r dre’.
