Description
The farm building at Llwyndyrus is constructed from local field boulders and rubble stonework, topped with a slate roof. It is situated on a cobbled platform elevated above the fold yard. The building features a gable entrance door with a rectangular ventilation opening above it, along with additional doors on the yard side against the gable end of the main cowhouse-barn range.
This structure consists of four bays and has no internal divisions. It includes an east gable end door for access and two more doors on the south side. Inside, there are three trusses of the standard Caernarfonshire type, which have slightly tapered principals that rise from the walls and are fitted with applied cambered collars to support the purlins. Notably, the center truss has been renewed in sawn timber. Feeding mangers are present along both sides of the building.
