Description
The farm building at Llwydiarth is a 19th-century structure made of whitewashed sawn slate rubble, topped with a slate roof that is closely cropped at the eaves. It features a central stable-type door in the two-bay barn, which occupies the upper two bays and has ventilation slits on either side. Near the gable end, there is a lower door that likely opens to a stable. A pitching opening for the grain loft is located between these features.
The barn consists of two bays separated by a tie beam and strut truss, dating from the mid-19th century. A full-height stone wall divides the upper bays from the lower bay, which is used as a granary. Additionally, a 20th-century lean-to farm building has been added to the south side.
