Description

Continuous range on a steep slope consisting of a barn at the upper end and a cow house below under a separate, lower roof. Random rubble sandstone with slate roofs. The barn has a sliding wooden door to cart passage in centre, with a vent slit to R. To L, at a lower level, are 2 stable doors to basement. In the R gable end is a loft opening. To the rear are full-height double doors to passage, flanked by 2 vent strips to L and 1 to R.

The cow house has a central doorway beneath a replaced lintel. To R are 2 doorways under segmental heads. To L are a pair of similar doorways with window further L. Above is a central loft doorway beneath the wall plate with a boarded door. Later lean-to to L gable end below stepped vent strips. Later lean-tos behind.

The barn has a flagged cart passage. Both barn and cow house have roofs with tie- and collar-beam trusses.
