Description

Pont Penprys is a bridge that forms part of a short raised causeway, allowing the road to cross a narrow section of the Llannor valley. It features a single segmental arch that spans approximately 4.65 meters, constructed with inset rubble voussoirs beneath a regulating course. The arch rises 2.2 meters above the river and is flanked by flush rubble spandrels and a uniform parapet topped with large coping stones. The carriageway is 4.6 meters wide and is nearly level, with parapets that are 45 centimeters thick, which flare out at the ends.
