Description
Lleiniau is a smallholding that includes a dwelling and farm buildings arranged in a line. It is constructed of whitewashed stone and features a grouted slate roof. The building is single storey and has been extended to the north by a single bay stable with stone copings on top, and to the south by a similar one-bay cowhouse, with additional outbuildings also in line. The front door is boarded, and there are small 4-pane sash windows on either side. The gable stacks have been rendered and include stone drip courses.
Inside, the door opens directly into a living room that is open to the roof. To the right, there is a service room, which was formerly two rooms, accessed through a cross partition. A modern ladder stair leads up to a loft bedroom above the service bay. There is a large fireplace at the gable end, featuring a cambered fire lintel that is dated 1777, although it is now covered. The stair to an attic above the living room was likely located to the left of the gable stack.
