Description

Bryn-wern is a two-storey building constructed from local slate rubble, featuring rendered false quoins and a slate roof. It has three bays and a central through hall plan, with a rear wing that forms a 'T' shape. The entrance consists of a central four-panelled door, with the upper panels glazed and a plain rectangular overlight above. The reception rooms on either side have 12-paned sash windows, while the first floor has 9-pane sashes. All the glazing bars are slender and without horns. The building has gable stacks, and the south re-entrant angle at the rear is infilled with domestic accommodation.
