Description
Tithe Barn Cottages is a row of four to five cottages built from local rubble stonework, topped with a slate roof. The cottages are arranged in a bilaterally symmetrical pair, with Nos 2 and 3 forming the central section. No 1 is added to the eastern end, while No 4 includes an additional single bay cottage at the western end. Each cottage has its own unique details.
No 3 is on the western side of the central symmetrical pair. It features an entrance on the left, which includes a panelled door with a six-paned light and an overlight above. To the right, there is a twelve-paned sash window with a cut stone lintel, outlined by a square section label. The first floor has another twelve-paned sash window, along with an additional sash window directly above the pier between the doors of Nos 2 and 3. The gable stack is made of rubble.
