Description
Pen Craig Villa is a building constructed with white painted rubble and features slate roofs. The original house has end rubble chimney stacks, while the left-hand addition has a rendered gable stack and there is also a northern extension. The original house presents a two-storey, three-bay front with 12-pane hornless sash windows that have slate sills and cambered stone voussoired heads. The central door is boarded and has a similar head.
The southern addition is of the same height and has a two-bay front, featuring 6/3-pane hornless sash windows on the first floor and a 12-pane hornless sash window on the ground floor to the right, with a boarded door to the left. This section has timber lintels. There is also a painted rubble lean-to added against the left end, which has a corrugated-iron roof, a boarded door to the right, and a window to the left.
Additionally, there is a single-storey former cottage added to the north, which has a two-bay front with a boarded door to the left and a 12-pane sash window to the right, along with a small dormer window featuring a flat roof. A timber garage from the 20th century has been added to the end of the property.
