Front stable to Rhiwnant

Rhiwnant is a pair of cottages located to the north, featuring a front stable and Nantygraig. The front of Rhiwnant has painted plaster, although much of the plaster has been removed from Nantygraig, exposing its rubble construction with squared quoins. Both buildings have slate roofs and rubble gable and party chimney stacks with slate tabling.

Rhiwnant has a two-storey, three-bay front with later 19th-century 12-pane horned sash windows. There is an enlarged window above the door, which has a 4-pane horned sash window. The windows have slate sills, and the central door is planked, incorporating three upper lights, surrounded by a simple moulded architrave.

Nantygraig is of similar dimensions but has its facade offset to the left, featuring larger 12-pane horned sash windows with cambered heads that are obscured by render. It also has slate sills, a 20th-century front door with a narrow overlight, and a small attic window in the gable. The rear outshut has been remodelled.

In the front garden of Rhiwnant, there is a later 19th-century rubble-built stable with its gable facing the road. It has a slate roof, a boarded door to the right, and a 9-pane window to the left, both with timber lintels.
