Description
Ty Dderwen and Rhydgwinllanau is a two-storey building constructed from rubble stone, featuring a slate roof with bracketed eaves and three stone stacks. The house, known as Rhydgwinllanau, has three windows on the upper floor with 12-pane hornless sash windows and a central arched six-panel door topped with a radiating bar fanlight. The door is accessed by four slate steps, and there are three basement windows with stone voussoirs. The shop, referred to as Ty Dderwen, has two similar upper windows and an attractive shopfront below. This includes a six-panel door with a large overlight and double marginal glazing bars, situated between two fixed large nine-pane windows, all beneath a timber lintel.
