Description
The outbuildings located to the northeast of Neuadd are constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and feature slate roofs. They consist of three small single-storey ranges arranged around a narrow courtyard. At the northeast corner of the house, there is a gabled entrance gateway, which includes a reused 17th-century ovolo-moulded timber doorcase, a timber lintel, and a stone shelf above. The gable contains two rectangular 17th-century sandstone plaques; the smaller upper plaque is divided into four panels reading "HEBDW," "HEBDIM," "DWA.D," and "IGON," while the larger lower plaque features the inscription "Aske & have, seeke and find, knocke and it shale be opened unto you," accompanied by two shields—one depicting a horse and the other a tower over three ladders. Above the plaques, there is a reset crude Ionic capital (upside down) that supports an eroded gargoyle head. The gable is covered with slate.
The courtyard ranges include a short southeast range to the right of the gateway, which is connected at right angles to a taller hipped northeast range, which in turn is attached to the slightly higher main northwest range. The main northwest range has a hipped roof on the left side and features a massive squat rubble stone ridge stack on the right. The courtyard-facing side includes a door with a timber lintel, a window, a door, and a blocked window, all beneath a single long lintel. The roof is hipped at the outer north angle. The northeast range has a hipped roof on the right and contains two doors with timber lintels leading into the courtyard. The rear wall has a chimney, and the right end wall features a cart-entry facing southeast. The southeast range appears to be an addition; it is lower and has a roof hipped to the right, situated next to the gateway. There is a door with a timber lintel between two vent loops.
The chimney masonry in the main range is massive and square, with a timber-lintel fireplace facing into a small northeast end space.
