Description

The former limekiln at Cwmtydu is a large, rubble-built structure in a D-plan shape, partially built against a slope. It features kiln openings on each side. While these openings may have originally been pointed, they now have recessed segmental arches made of stone voussoirs, indicating later alterations. The kiln is currently disused but has been recently restored.
