Description

The limekiln is a structure made of rubble with dressed stone quoins. It is built into a bank and utilizes the natural slope above, measuring approximately 13 meters long, 6 meters high, and 3.5 meters deep. The main south elevation features four buttresses that are broad at the ends and narrower towards the center. There are three cambered arches with narrow stone voussoirs and small rectangular draught holes. Additionally, five iron pegs have been inserted into the face of the kiln, which also has brick linings.
