Description

The lime kiln located northeast of Llanfaglan is a rectangular structure measuring approximately 7 meters long, 5 meters wide, and 4 meters high. It is constructed partly from rubble stone and partly from squared blocks. The rear of the kiln is built into a man-made bank or ramp. The top and crucible of the kiln are in poor condition and are partly overgrown. Both the north and south sides feature tall kiln eyes with massive stone lintels, sloping sides, and tapering interiors, standing 2 meters high at the front and extending 2 meters deep.
