Description
Cefn-y-coed-uchaf is a two-storey building constructed from rough boulder rubble stone, topped with a slate close-eaved roof and featuring stone end stacks, with the larger stack located on the left. The front facade has a three-window range that is offset to the right. It includes twelve-pane sash windows with slate lintels and a central boarded door that has a four-pane overlight above it. On the left end wall, there is an added rendered lean-to. The rear has two windows on the first floor, located in the centre and to the right, and a very small window on the ground floor to the left. To the right, there is a single-storey wing with rubble stone walls, a slate roof, and an end stone stack that has been raised in brick. This wing features a twelve-pane window and a boarded door. Although not inspected, it is reported that the interior has a heavily beamed ceiling and an inglenook fireplace.
