Description

Gorse Cottage & Yr Hen Tafarn

A 2-storey double-fronted house of rubble stone with bigger quoins, and slate roof with stone end stacks. Openings have wedge lintels in the lower storey and are beneath the eaves in the upper storey. The central doorway is half-glazed. The windows are small-pane hornless sashes. In the R gable end is a boarded cellar doorway lower L and a 2-light casement in the lower storey under a wooden lintel. Further R are 2 inserted windows. The rear is rendered, double fronted with replaced windows, gabled porch and flat-roofed projection on the R side.
