11 Glanyrafon Cottages

11 Glanyrafon Cottages is a row of 11 single-fronted, two-storey cottages built from rubble stone. They feature barge boards, a slate roof, and diagonally set stone ridge stacks. Cottages numbered 1, 3, and 7 include attic windows in their gables. The openings have stone lintels with drip stones on the lower storey, and in the upper storey and attic of Nos 1, 3, and 7, while the other cottages have upper-storey windows located beneath the eaves. All windows have stone sills, and in each cottage, the window is positioned to the left of the doorway.

Between cottages 6 and 7, there is a passage at the lower storey level, featuring segmental stone arches on the front and rear walls, which leads to a passage at the back. On the right side of the passage, cottages 7 to 11 have a higher roof line. Cottages 11 and 12 have a slightly deeper plan and include pairs of diagonal stacks. The houses have rear doors and windows that have been renewed in earlier openings.

Internally, each cottage consists of two rooms on the lower storey. Some cottages retain original boarded doors and have restored horizontal-sliding sash windows. The right gable end of one cottage features a triple horizontal-sliding sash window on the lower right and an inserted boarded door at the right end, with an added projection behind.
