Description
Manor Court, also known as Sessions House, is a near-symmetrical, two-storey house built from snecked dressed stone with a slate roof and end stacks. The central doorway features a pointed arch with voussoirs, double panelled doors that include glazed panels and strap hinges, and a plain overlight. Above the doorway, there is a freestone tablet that commemorates the construction of the sessions house in 1869. The windows have wedge lintels and stone sills, and they consist of wood-framed casements. On the lower storey, there is a three-light window on the left and a two-light window on the right, both of which have transoms. The upper storey features two-light windows. The left gable end has two windows, including a cross window on the lower left and a smaller window further left. At the back, there is a rear wing. The upper storey of this wing has an enlarged window on the left and a two-light window on the right. There is also a single-storey rear wing behind the main structure.
