Description
Berwyn Cottage is a 2-storey house featuring rendered walls and a slate roof, with a rebuilt stack on the left side. On the right side, there is an outshut with a catslide roof. The main entrance has a central half-lit door beneath a lean-to canopy. To the left of the door is a 6-pane late 19th-century horned sash window, and above it is a mid 19th-century small-pane triple horizontal sliding sash window. The outshut has a doorway that is offset to the right, which was formerly a window, now featuring a boarded door in a narrowed opening. To the left of this doorway is a 4-pane sash window. The side wall facing the main doorway of the house includes a similar 4-pane sash window, which has been re-set from the front elevation, located in what was originally the shop doorway, with a small casement window above it. Attached to the right gable end is the stub wall of the former Pendre Farmhouse.
