Description

2 North Street is a symmetrical pair of two-storey double-fronted houses built of rubble stone with larger quoins. They feature a slate roof behind coped gables and brick end stacks. The lower storey openings have segmental heads with voussoirs, and all windows are fitted with stone sills. Each house has a central doorway with a renewed boarded door that has vertical ribs. The lower storey contains 16-pane horizontal-sliding sash windows, while the upper storey has shorter 12-pane windows located beneath the eaves. There is a single-storey projection against the left gable end, which is now a shop. This building is part of the group of 1-2 North Street.
