Description
This is a two-storey, two-window house located at 13 Castle Street, built with roughcast under a slate roof. The house features a large stack at the rear, possibly on a wing. The entrance is offset to the left of centre and includes a wooden doorcase that holds a panelled door with a four-pane overlight above it. There is a gabled porch canopy adorned with decorative pierced and cusped barge boards, along with a tall finial, all supported by curved brackets. To the left of the entrance, there are double boarded garage doors. On the right side, there is a late 19th-century canted bay window with a hipped roof and a decorated eaves cornice, which contains a four-pane sash window. The upper storey features two hornless twelve-pane sash windows positioned just below the eaves. The interior has not been seen.
