Description
Snowdon Lodge is a 2-storey, 3-window house built in a mildly Gothic style, constructed from snecked rock-faced stone with a slate roof featuring overhanging boarded eaves. It has stone end stacks and a stone stack on an integral rear wing. The house includes a central half-glazed timber-framed porch with a replacement half-glazed door beneath an original overlight. Inside, there is a replacement half-glazed door with original side panels.
The lower storey features canted bay windows with 2-pane margin-lit sash windows. In the upper storey, the outer windows are 2-pane margin-lit sash windows set above the eaves, topped with half-hipped roofs that have tile finials and cresting. The central window is similar but narrower and is located under a gable with a pendant finial. On the right gable end, there is a narrow 2-pane horned sash window positioned lower left.
The offset rear wing is slightly set back from the right gable end and has 2-pane margin-lit horned sashes on both storeys. The opposite side wall of the wing has, in the lower storey, 4-pane sash windows on the left side and 2-pane sash windows on the right side. The upper storey features three 4-pane sash windows and one 2-pane sash window on the right. A 20th-century extension is located further behind. The building has not been inspected.
