Description
This is a terrace of 1½-storey cottages located at 9-25 Dublin Street, Tremadog. The cottages are constructed of roughly coursed and squared quarried stone, with boulder footings visible at Nos 9 and 11. They have a slate roof and five stone stacks with raked half dormers. No 9 is a 2-window house with a half-glazed door to the left. The windows throughout the terrace are replacements, although some are set in original openings. Nos 11-25 are single-fronted and arranged in reflected pairs, mostly featuring 20th-century replacement doors and windows, some of which have been enlarged while others remain in their original openings. No 11 has a small-pane horizontal-sliding sash window in its dormer. A lower doorway is blocked between Nos 13 and 15. No 25 has a 2-window addition to the right with a skylight, followed by a single-storey addition named Yr Efail, which incorporates modern detail.
The rear of the terrace has seen extensive alteration and addition, featuring modern detail. Rear extensions are as follows: a 2-storey wing at No 9, outshuts at Nos 11 and 13, 2-storey wings at Nos 15 and 17, 2-storey flat-roofed extensions at Nos 19 and 21, an outshut at No 23, and another 2-storey wing at No 25. The terrace forms a group with Nos 9-25 Dublin Street, Tremadog.
