Description
This is a terrace of 1½-storey cottages located at 9-25 Dublin Street, Tremadog. The cottages are built of roughly coursed and squared quarried stone, with boulder footings at numbers 9 and 11. They have a slate roof and five stone stacks, and all feature raked half dormers. Number 9 is a two-window house with a half-glazed door on the left side. The windows are replacements, though they are in the original openings. Numbers 11-25 are single-fronted, arranged in reflected pairs, most featuring 20th-century replacement doors and windows; some of these replacements are larger than the original openings while others fit within their original positions. Number 11 has a small-pane horizontal-sliding sash window in its dormer. A lower doorway is blocked between numbers 13 and 15. Number 25 has a two-window addition on its right side, topped with a skylight, and a single-storey addition named ‘Yr Efail’ with modern detailing.
The rear of the terrace has undergone extensive alteration and addition, incorporating modern details. Number 9 has a two-storey wing, numbers 11 and 13 have outshuts, numbers 15 and 17 have two-storey wings, numbers 19 and 21 have two-storey, flat-roofed extensions, number 23 has an outshut, and number 25 has a two-storey wing. The terrace belongs to a group of buildings at 9-25 Dublin Street, Tremadog.
