Description
6 Sgwar y Farchnad is a two-storey double-fronted house built from large, roughly coursed and squared blocks of quarried stone. It features large slate-stone lintels and has a slate roof with projecting eaves, three skylights, and stone stacks at the ends. The openings of the house have raised cement surrounds. The entrance, which is offset to the left of center, has a replacement half-glazed boarded door. The windows are renewed four-pane horned sashes typical of the late 19th century, and the lower storey windows are fitted with wrought-iron grilles.
At the rear, the house is rendered and includes an added outshut on the right side, which has an eaves stack. There is also an attached one-storey gabled rear wing with a tall stone stack. To the left of the outshut, there are two one-storey lean-tos. The building has not been inspected.
