Description
This is a terrace of 1½-storey cottages built of roughly coursed and squared quarried stone, with boulder footings to Nos. 9 and 11. The roofs are slate, and there are five stone stacks. All cottages have raked half dormers. No. 9 is a two-window house featuring a half-glazed door to the left. The windows are replacements, but set within original openings. Nos. 11-25 are single-fronted and arranged in reflected pairs, mostly fitted with 20th-century replacement doors and windows, some of which have been enlarged while others are in original openings. No. 11 features a small-pane horizontal-sliding sash window in its dormer. A blocked lower doorway is located between Nos. 13 and 15. No. 25 has a two-window addition to its right side, topped with a skylight, and then a single-storey addition named Yr Efail, with modern detail.
The rear of the terrace has undergone extensive alteration and addition, incorporating modern features. No. 9 has a two-storey wing, Nos. 11 and 13 have outshuts, Nos. 15 and 17 have two-storey wings, Nos. 19 and 21 have two-storey flat-roofed extensions, No. 23 has an outshut, and No. 25 has a two-storey wing. The terrace forms a group with Nos. 9-25 Dublin Street in Tremadog.
