Description
The building is a Post Office with an attached house, both featuring a slate roof. The Post Office is two storeys high with three window bays. On the ground floor, there is a double-fronted shop window with a central recessed entrance, flanked by pilasters that support a continuous fascia and cornice. The first floor has margin-glazed sash windows, and there is a 20th-century window inserted in the former access way on the west side of the ground floor. Gable stacks are present.
The attached house is constructed of stone, with the front rendered, and shares the same slate roof that runs along the terrace. It is also two storeys tall with two window bays. The upper floor retains original 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has been altered, featuring an off-centre boarded door and a modern glazed door to the right, set within a late 19th-century decorative timber gabled porch. The stack on the house is rendered.
