Description

Plas-y-nant is a two-storey building constructed of stone on a foundation of large boulders, with a rendered rear wing and slate roofs. The south front, which faces the garden, features a central door and modern 20th-century four-pane stained wood sash windows, with the upper floor windows extending through the eaves. The building has tall gable stacks.

Inside, there is a through passage from the front, which is now a garden door, leading into the main living room on the left. On the right side of the passage, there is a post and panel partition, and at the southern end on the right, there are two shaped doors positioned closely together.
