This is a standard turnpike milestone located in Porthdinllaen. It is made from a slate slab that is 7.5 centimeters thick and 46 centimeters wide, with the upper corners angled. The milestone features deeply cut lettering that reads: MILES / PORTHDINLLEYN 11 / NEVIN 10 / FOURCROSSES 2 / CRICCIETH 4 1/2 / PORTMADOG 9 1/2 / EDERN 10 1/2.
