Description
Ysgubor-hen is a building constructed from roughly coursed rubble stone, featuring slated roofs with red clay ridges and tall gable stacks. The main front has three symmetrical bays, with a central door that has been converted into a window. There are main rooms on either side of the passage that leads to the rear wing. The ground floor has tall 12-pane sash windows on each side, while the first floor has 9-pane single sash windows. The center of the front rises as a wide pediment and includes a circular window. At the rear, there is a single bay that houses a centrally placed kitchen range, which was later extended by a second bay with a hipped roof, to which a lean-to has been added. In the eastern re-entrant angle, there is a lean-to that contains the main entrance door. Further back, stone external steps lead up to a loft in the second rear extension.
