Description
The building is a house that has been converted into a post office, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan with two bays and three storeys. The central door is surrounded by a square-cut stone frame and is flanked by 19th-century shop windows, each with two round-headed lights, pierced spandrels, and a cornice supported by foliated consoles. On the first floor, there are two four-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows, and on the second floor, there is a similar twelve-light workshop window. The building has gable stacks and similar windows at the rear.
