Description

The James Martineau Memorial in Rothiemurchus was built around 1900 and restored in 1974. It features a three-sided column adorned with intricately carved interlacing Celtic designs on each face, topped with a flat capital. The column stands on a triangular plinth that includes an inscribed panel on one side. The memorial is enclosed by a simple spearhead-railed fence.
