Description

The Covenanters Monument in Deerness is an 1888 memorial featuring a tapering square-plan column. It stands on a stepped plinth and is topped with a cushion capital and a small cuboid finial. The monument is constructed from harl-pointed squared and roughly coursed rubble. On the south face, there is a pointed-arched granite plaque that is inscribed.
