Description

The War Memorial at Edgerston, built around 1920, is made of polished cream ashlar sandstone. It features a tapering octagonal pillar topped with a pierced crown finial shaped like entwined cloverleaves. The memorial stands on an octagonal pedestal, which is set on a stepped square plinth.

Surrounding the memorial is a semicircular enclosure wall made of rubble, which is finished at the rear with square bull-faced rubble piers.
