Description
The Jane Fraser Memorial Obelisk, located in Foyers Cemetery, dates back to 1817. It features a square panelled plinth on a stepped base, which supports an obelisk that is encircled by a band course. The entire structure is made of polished ashlar. On the northwest side of the obelisk, there are two marble angels, along with a marble plaque below in the plinth that bears an inscription. The finial of the obelisk is missing. The memorial is enclosed by a low coped ashlar retaining wall topped with cast-iron spearhead railings.
