Description

The War Memorial in Houghton on the Hill was built around 1920 and is made of stone. It features a square pedestal set on a stepped plinth, from which a square tapering shaft rises. At the top, there is a miniature gabled shrine with a spirelet. The memorial has four niches that contain statues of saints, and the pedestal displays names and inscriptions. The entire structure stands approximately 4 meters high.
