Description

Little Acres is a cottage dating from the late 16th to 17th century. It is probably cruck framed and features whitewashed rendered brick with a rubble stone plinth in part, topped by a thatched roof with a brick central ridge and right end stacks. The building has one and a half storeys, with four two-light and one one-light casements. There is a part-glazed door with a thatch canopy located to the centre right. Additionally, there are two two-light eyebrow dormers above and further casements on the left end. It is noted to be cruck framed according to the Victoria County History, Volume V.
