Description
No. 11 Main Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a rubble stone and brick plinth, topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring brick end stacks. The building has brick dentilled eaves in parts and a gable facing front to the left.
The cottage has two storeys, with a façade that includes a 2-light and two 3-light leaded casements. On the ground floor, from left to right, there are two similar 1-light windows with top lights, a small 4-light canted bay window, and a door with a gabled canopy above it. The door is accompanied by a 3-light window that has a cambered lintel. On the facing gable, there are three 1-light windows, with the leftmost one also featuring a cambered lintel. Inside, the cottage has stop-chamfered spine beams. This building is included for its group value.
