Description

No. 73 Main Street is a cottage dating from the early 19th century, likely built on an earlier structure, as suggested by its cobble and brick plinth. The building is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands two stories tall and has a two-unit plan with a central doorway that has a cambered head, sheltered by a flat porch canopy. To the left of the doorway is a two-light casement window and an outer archway leading to a passage. To the right, there is a three-light casement and a single-light casement. The two upper windows consist of two and three lights, respectively, and all openings have cambered brick heads. The cottage is finished with a dentilled eaves cornice and has a stack on the right-hand gable.
